Submit a geofeed
Network operators can tell us where their addresses are used. We download your feed daily and use it ahead of every other source.
What is a geofeed?
A geofeed is a CSV file described in RFC 8805. Each line has a prefix, a country code, a region code, a city and an optional postal code:
# prefix,country,region,city,postal 192.0.2.0/25,DE,DE-BY,Nuremberg, 192.0.2.128/25,US,US-MO,St. Louis, 2001:db8:1::/48,SG,,Singapore,
The recommended way
Reference the feed from your inetnum and inet6num objects in the RIPE Database with a geofeed: attribute (RFC 9092). We pick it up automatically with the next nightly import and no form is needed.
Manage it yourself
Create a free account, verify your organisation (with a remark in the RIPE Database or an email to your abuse contact) and manage your feed under My networks. Add a URL or edit a feed hosted by us. Changes are validated and go live immediately, and URL feeds are fetched again every day. Use the geofeed checker to test a feed first.
Or send it to us
Without an account, submit the URL below. We check that the feed parses and only covers address space held by your organisation before we enable it.
