How it works: your browser loads three small addresses on this site. v4.ip-fd.net only has an IPv4 address, v6.ip-fd.net only has an IPv6 address and ip-fd.net has both. Nothing is stored. The same answers are available from the API: /api/v1/me/ip.
No IPv6? Most home routers support it but have it switched off, and many providers enable it on request. Websites keep working over IPv4 either way.
